Why get a massage?
The benefits of massage are MANY:
Massage helps us to relieve the stress and tension we experience from
our day-to-day lives, by allowing us to relax, breathe consciously and in
supporting us in letting go of negative or worrisome thoughts that do not
serve as well.
Massage manipulations by a highly trained massage therapist such as
Rosalie benefit restricted muscle tissue which can cause pain and
limited mobility as well as reduced performance in athletes. Rosalie
uses sports massage, deep tissue, and injury therapy to help stretch
and mobilize restricted tissue in athletes and other highly active people,
so they can continue to perform at optimum or enhanced levels.
Massage can assist in lowering blood pressure while enhancing our
circulation, nutrition delivery and waste elimination processes.
Massage helps the body to maintain wellness by enhancing these

Rosalie uses Swedish massage, aromatherapy and foot reflexology for
relaxation and stress reduction, and administers shiatsu, polarity work
and acupressure for bringing balance to or maintaining wellness within,
the body.
Massage can improve flexibility, range, balance, and movement and
can help energize the body. Rosalie uses shiatsu, and thai massage
techniques to help improve flexibility, balance, movement and energy.
Rosalie values massage therapy and thinks of it not as a luxury, but as a
necessity for optimum health--not only because it reduces stress levels,
keeps us healthy, lifts the spirits and enhances our physical
performance, but because it helps people to become aware of their
bodies and how they can become connected with and facilitate their
own healing of body, spirit, and mind. Plus, Rosalie says--giving and
receiving massage can be almost as relaxing as SCUBA diving on a
